The National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified that the JIPMAT exam syllabus, especially for Quantitative Aptitude, is entirely based on the 10th standard. According to the NTA norms, the JIPMAT question paper will have 100 questions, with the Quant and Logical Reasoning sections each containing 33 questions and the Verbal Ability section containing 34 questions.

JIPMAT is not challenging, but scoring in the 99+ percentile is not easy. Students need consistency in preparation, regular, mock tests, and revision of the topics that they have studied so far.
Generally, a good score in JIPMAT is around 380+ marks out of 400. For the general category, 380+ marks are ideal, but for reserved category students, 300+ marks in JIPMAT are considered a good score.
The cut off for JIPMAT depends on the cut off marks released by the participating institutes- IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The expected JIPMAT cut off for IIM Bodh Gaya can be 330+, while for IIM Jammu, it is expected to be around 300+ marks
