JIPMAT exam pattern is decided by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to the pattern, there are three sections- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The JIPMAT question paper follows an MCQ format. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes, with no sectional time limit.

JIPMAT is not too tough to crack. However, scoring in the 99+ percentile is challenging. To get into IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu, your score should be 380+ in the JIPMAT exam.

Yes, there is a penalty for attempting incorrect answers. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

What is the cut-off for JIPMAT?

The cutoff for JIPMAT varies by institute. The cut off for IIM Bodh Gaya goes up to 290 based on the exam’s difficulty level and the number of students appearing for the test. Whereas, the JIPMAT cut-off for IIM Jammu is 50th percentile in each section for the general category. For other categories, the cutoff score is slightly lower than that of General category students.
